Assuming the album title is Hard At Work, I think it’s a reference to edging your lawn. I’m sure from there you could go down the sexual innuendo path as well.

Leaving the “SHIT” track in before the final chorus is a nice touch.

I'm just waiting patiently to see the blink sub-Reddit implode because those people are straight up irrational.

Tom is an absolute god to them, yet I know they won't like this song for various reasons. Almost like they are all blinded by nostalgia and nothing this band will ever do will ever please them until years later when they realize "Hey that actually wasn't so bad".

I could cry, the amount of money I just spent.

MSG only had a handful of tickets available and they were through the roof, so I settled on Barclays. But damnit do I hate that venue.
I got 11th row of the lower bowl for $235 each. Which sadly sounds cheaper than other venues. But what makes me madder is that those exact same seats were 20 dollars cheaper on the presale yesterday lol

That’s fucking disgusting. The state of the ticket market in the US is absolutely fucked.

Bands just do not give a fuck either, else this wouldn’t be happening. They’ve made it worse than ticket gouging, amazingly. The consumer is worse off either way.

Second only to price gouging ticket buyers.

The Brand New subreddit when it all kicked off was embarrassing. People genuinely believed the band would be back that year etc. In absolute denial about everything.

IDK - it’s pop like California but it doesn’t follow the Feldman formula at all - California choruses sound like every chorus on the last two Goldfinfer albums, Avril’s new album, the one he did with ATL. It’s all the same.

    Nah, TIcketmaster is worse.

But you also need to fault the artist for not opting out of these anti-consumer practices. They have that option.

And on that note, dynamic pricing has hit the UK too. Not any shows I’ve wanted to go to, but apparently Harry Styles and such. So price gouging young people, real cool move guys.

I’m all for supporting artists but they’re complicit in this shit.

Some artists do. I haven't checked this but saw someone mention that Ed Sheeran caps out at $150 for his tour next year.

not a fan of the single at all. it's disappointing compared to how much I loved "Up All Night". still glad they're back and looking forward to the album, hopefully there'll be some more interesting stuff on there.

They absolutely are. Support your independent venues. As much as it can suck, buy through a broker or reseller closer to the date. Don't give your money to Ticketmaster.

That John Oliver segment someone posted a couple pages back hits the nail on the head. The Ticketmaster + Live Nation merger was the absolute worst thing to happen. If 90% of large venues are Live Nation venues, and Ticketmaster is now the exclusive ticket seller for those venues, they could honestly do whatever the fuck they want.

It's like before Verizon Fios came around and there were neighborhoods where Time Warner Cable was your only internet option. They just randomly would jack up the prices and be like "we're your only option, what else you gonna do?"

Only a matter of time before the movie industry adopts dynamic pricing and it's $50+ to see a Marvel movie opening weekend

Think they also took All the Small Things as an arena anthem and wrote this one as if it’s meant to be played at NHL games.

Ironically it would replace FOAM's "Fire Ready Aim" as NHL's anthem lol

If prices were that much here I would simply stop going to concerts lol. Most I've ever paid is like £50 a ticket I think and that was for My Chem.
