I get the criticism that it's generic pop-punk, but come on, that's the formula that made us all fall in love with blink. Don't get why it's called Edging, but whatever.

Like it more than most of California, and it's better than about half of Neighborhoods. "Bored To Death" is still the best lead single they've done since the 2009 reunion though.

 

Tickets are actually cheaper on stubhub than on ticketmaster right now.

I like that the whole tone feels like friends reconnecting. The song, the promo, the funny videos. It all just has a really positive tone.

Tom has the market on angst. Some songs from california and nine really bugged me with the overt youthful lyrics that felt so forced. BIOMY and Kings of the weekend come to mind. Tom comes in ripping with the verse and it is angsty without feeling derivative.

So far, every moment since the announcement has exceeded expectations for me personally. I have a good feeling about the record too.

 

Had this conversation with my partner last night. If Ticketmaster didn't do dynamic pricing like this, resellers would jack up prices this high based off demand. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't.
