Love how many people said they "never expected Tom back in the band!" when he said in 2015 or whenever he left that it was only temporary and that he would def be back someday when the time was right... That said, FUCK YEAH! Who has the presale codes for tomorrow? I wanna do my best to NOT get screwed on these ticket prices

 

Wasn't sure how I felt after the Tom clip, but really dig the Mark clip. And so far it doesn't sound like the over produced mess that Feldmann likes to churn out.

 

I swear if this merch sells out before my merch page loads, I'm going to lose it.

 

hahaha. Well to be fair, I'm sure that appearance was awkward as hell anyway. They said they had like 0 direction on what to do and someone basically just pushed them out on stage.

But yes, these photoshoots and video have me PUMPED.

From the super short preview, I think Tom's voice is a fair compromise between Blink and AVA. I mean, if it were full AVA, it would be more like, "Come'mwooooonnnnnnnn gaawettttt tha rowwwwwwwwwp"

Maybe this is just the excitement speaking, but wow -- the rollout is already a million times better than the 2009 reunion. Upbeat, fun, and new music 4 days after the announcement!

What a blast. Can't wait to see how this progresses, and the song sounds fun!

Seems that they're topping out at about $175. Better than I expected tbh.

 

I think the big difference between Tom’s blink and AVA voice is approximately 20 years of getting older.

Yeah, for real. I remember saying in the old thread (probably shortly after Nine came out?) that I wouldn't doubt if Tom came back for one off performances or special occasions, and people were pretty skeptical of that.

But even being optimistic about that, them secretly recording an entire album and announcing a world tour is something I would have never predicted.

 

I always expected Tom would at least do an album anniversary tour at some point, but I never expected him to come back full time, especially without Matt also being there. I just really hope that Tom's heart is in it this time, and that he sticks around even after the tour.

 

Is this Adjacent Festival a Bamboozle rebrand?

 

Well, to be fair, he proved he can strike the perfect balance with Even if She Falls. It's more of an annunciation thing.

 

Kind of torn. Love that Tom is back but also feel like it's going to make the Matt era feel pointless in retrospect. Can't see them playing many California / NINE songs live.

 

Bamboozle has their dates listed as May 5-7 so I don’t think so
