New Carpenter track is out. His work continues to be the silver lining of these movies.

 

embargo for this supposedly lifts at 3pm EST on thursday. that’s 18 or so hours after people are gonna be walking out the prescreening the night before. enjoy the movie

 

Got a bad feeling about this one!

 

Yeah there is no way this is any good. Super bummed. I had faith in this team. Even the ads are shit.

The worst part is knowing they’re going to do the same thing to the Exorcist.

 

Well I still think the first one was well done so maybe the first one will work for me at least.

I require 3 chants of “evil dies tonight.” If not, this movie sucks.

 

Watching kills now and it just pissed me off. They got so many things right but so many things so wrong. That opener is perfect.

 

Yeah as long as it’s at the very least a silly, fun experience like Kills I’ll be happy. I’ll take 1000 more of those kind of movies. I don’t have great expectations based on everything we have seen or heard, but I’m still excited to watch this at home on Friday night. It’s very cool that they put this on Peacock.

 

The one thing that really does bother me as all the slow mo and effects in michael in nearly every scene - let that shit just play out in real time lol

 

I actually think I enjoyed it a ton more tonight. Interestingg

 

The story is pretty bad, but the kills are very good, and on that basis alone it's quite fun even if it's trashy. Mostly worried about what corny dialogue they'll give to Jamie Lee here.

 

At the end of Kills Michael should've turned to camera and said, "Well, well, well, looks like evil doesn't dies tonight after all." then it would've been a perfect movie.

 

Shoulda let her sleep the whole second film. Her and Tommy are the worst parts lol

I think the knarly kills and soundtrack are perfect
