Whoops, yes, you're right! I said it wrong, but yeah it crawls inside Rose's mouth.

  2. The only issue I've had with Shudder on Roku is, if you let Shudder TV play for too long, I will go to play a specific movie and it will tell me too many users and signed into the account. I just have to exit and restart the app and go to Movies before Shudder TV starts.

Really liked Deadstream. Predictable but just fun the entire way through.

    Happy Midnight Club day everyone!

I'm going to take my time with it and do a text-a-long with a friend that I've watched all the Flanagan Netflix shows with after he introduced me to Hill House over the lockdowns.

Checked out Deadstream last night and found it super entertaining (Letterboxd review here). I actually found it quite scary at times, which I wasn't expecting! Although I am particularly creeped out by ghostly horror, which often makes me uncomfortable in a dark room afterwards.

Did It Follows last night (seemed natural after watching Smile and seeing some parallels). What a unique movie. I think it only gets better with subsequent viewings. While I don't find it nearly as unsettling as I once did, it is just flat out enjoyable (there is still something undeniably horrific in someone/something walking slowly towards you consistently) The wide shots/slow zooms, the rural sidewalk shots and classroom window scenes that pay such obvious homage to Carpenter, and the absolutely stellar synth soundtrack.

I desperately want a horror movie with a demonic entity running full speed up stairs to get someone. I wrote one myself but have no idea how to make a horror movie lol.

Watching Chucky, episode 6 "Cape Queer". I did not expect this show to make me tear up! I hope nothing bad happens to Devon.

Hellraiser 2022 isn’t as horny as the previous films, but it’s still horny.

A Hellraiser which lacks horniness would just be a Heavenraiser. No good.

Deadstream was a blast. Gets very Evil Dead at the end.

Was surprised to find out Odessa A'Zion is Pamela Adlon's daughter. But then you take one look at her and it makes sense.

I know, I know, but I really really hate clowns. Loving it so far, turns out Klowns are okay.

I'm watching the new Hellraiser now, after watching the original Hellraiser for the first time the other day. I didn't like the original at all. I like that this one gets right into it instead of spending the first half focusing on a weird skinless guy before we get into any Cenobite stuff.

  24. Werewolf By Night was enjoyable. Some satisfying kills, some nice visuals with the being in black and white and all, but still very much a Marvel project at its core, more action than horror. Still, neat homage to old monster movies. Standalone and very short, so even if you aren't generally a fan of superhero shit or don't you follow the MCU I think it's worth the watch.
