Jesus fucking Christ the hand scene in Gerald’s Game… completely forgot about this..

I’d hook up people with my Plex too but I think it rarely works for people that aren’t literally logged into my account, which is a bummer, cuz I’m always happy to share.

 

My 3 year old son must be a horror fan by blood because he already loves Paranorman and Monster House. He loves the thrill just like I do.

 

maybe I should watch Gerald's Game again because tbh I remember it doing absolutely nothing for me at the time

 

Got back to the second half of Speak No Evil tonight after falling asleep last night. This is the second horror film in my entire life that I haven’t been able to finish.

*Major spoiler below*

As a father to a 4 year old daughter, this legitimately almost made me ill. Powerful, but I can’t stomach it.

It didn’t for me either. So many other movies I’ve been killing to watch.

 

Just rewatched Session 9 and still love it. I remember seeing it on a list of Tarantino's favorite films in like 2005 and rented it from Blockbuster and it instantly became one of my favorites. Psychological horror film, doesn't look like it's streaming anywhere though.

 

Didn't think the remake was anything special tbh haha. Still prefer the original.

 

Session 9 used to be streaming on one of the free platforms like tubi, crackle or pluto... but I can't remember which one. It's so weird to hear Josh Lucas on film because I immediately expect the Home Depot song to start.

 

Nice. Was wondering when that scene would reappear.

 

I am happy to report that Scanners still absolutely fucking rules and for the first time ever, it seemed to occur to me that Tommy Wallace did Halloween 3 the year after Scanners in 82 and he was clearly influenced stylistically

 

Ironside’s performance is sooo good.

Just watched Final Destination 4. You guys weren’t kidding. What a turd. The deaths, dialogue and acting all are hilariously bad. Very unnecessary use of the a racist slur that came out of nowhere and the tampons in the kids ears had me doing a double take. One of the worst movies I’ve seen in quite some time lol

 

Saw Smile tonight and wow what a hilariously bad movie

 

I can't imagine it wouldn't be. 2000s teen schlock vibes

 

It's being reviewed much better than I expected on a critical level. The trailer looked so dumb to me.

The one thing that intrigues me about Smile is that it's rated R so maybe it will have decent gore at least. Definitely gonna wait for it to hit streaming tho

 

I've seen at least 1 surprisingly good review for it.
