  2. Yeah I was about to say, I wasn't expecting him to put out multiple releases a year but he's been on quite a streak lately. I assume TSOAF is next and Saosin in 2023? Or more likely both next year.

He also has that song with Night Verses he was trying to get them to put out. I really really hope we hear that at some point.

Something else remarkable about AG is actually his ability to be a part of so much musically, and never seeming to really struggle with maintaining good relationships and balance between all of them. Even despite all his personal demons.

    a gem.

AG was on the Brooklyn Vegan podcast this week.

They were talking bout the title, Boom Done. He said that at one point he was planning to not be around when the album came out.

Then said he will either not be doing more solo stuff or will take take a long break to focus on other bands.

in talking about MeWithoutYou he said, "They shouldn't break up, they should just take a little bit of time, play every couple years, play once a year."

Wonder if that is kind of how Circa's thought process is?

He was asked about Circa and he said they were taking a break. But he had high hopes for the next Circa material.

He said the Sao songs they are working on is all heavier than anything else he has done. Said he wanted to make sure it sounds different than any of his other projects.

Also not sure which thread the argument was in about Saosin vs TBS vs Thursday vs Coheed. But he says Saosin was just him trying to rip off Geoff Rickley and Claudio and that's how it came out.

Weird that he took ā€œ2022ā€ off this but put it on LS Dunes. Iā€™d think the two songs could coexist?

So, has anyone heard it already?

Wish there were both versions of this still in standard streaming, it's weird. As for the new version - some parts are pretty trippy

Hmmm, if we lost the version from this album for this I'm pretty bummed. I don't mind it, but the Doom. Done. version feels so heartbreaking and powerful.

I do wonder if it's a label dispute. I believe Boom. Done. and LS Dunes are being released by different companies.

Or Anthony just decided he preferred the LS Dunes version. I dunno.

i didnt mean that derogative at all - i think its cool

think about it - record a song twice for two projects, pull it off your first release to get people asking questions as to why. then premiere the other version with your new project thats getting started from square one and that needs exposure.

the ant solo version will be available again in the future.

  20. I don't think LS Dunes needs as much exposure as an AG solo record, though. It's got Frank Iero in it and members of another well-known and beloved emo group. It's niche, but it's on a lot of radars where as, at this point, Anthony's fanbase pretty much knows when he's putting out a new record

Yeah can't imagine Anthony would mess around with the integrity of his new solo album if he didn't have to.

  22. For real. I think it's a pretty wild notion to call it intentional lol

Yeah I agree, if it was intentional I'd say it wouldn't be a great look. I'm actually weirded out by having a song taken away from the solo album (that I've quickly grown to love of course). When I get a chance to buy the vinyl here in Poland I hope it's still gonna have it on that pressing.

why is it not a great look? what is this talk of integrity?

THAT is a weird thing to say imo.

Because that would be nothing but annoying to me, and I guess many other people - however, in the end it's just odd more likely due to the fact how much work goes into producing a song and same goes for album sequencing etc., it's cool that in the streaming era artists can change stuff around (for example if it accidentally turns out to be problematic - we've seen lyrics get changed lately on a quite short notice, and it's not a bad thing), but that instance would just have much more cons than pros.

EDIT: in short I'd consider that a weird gimmick with not much pay-off (if it was intentional), though I don't want to sound prickly hahh, seeing as we're only theorizing, it doesn't seem to be the case here for real.
