20 gold and 7 silver doesn't make sense. Did they get that swapped lol?

Underoath what in the actual fuck with the NFT scam. Jesus.

Was also surprised to get an email this weekend that Greg Puciato was also "participating" in the same NFT shit on Revolver for his debut solo album...

I'd try for a copy of TOCS to replace the screwed up Observatory press that the plant refused to take responsibility for and the band just completely ignored, but not with the NFT garbage.

  5. I really want a copy, but refuse to do anything with NFTs. Looks like it all sold out/crashed immediately.

How is everyone feeling about Vouyerist after a few months with the album? It is by far my least revisited album by them. I need to do a front-to-back playthrough soon. It sounded like a transition album to me. On its way to something truly incredible but still working it out. I listened to a few of the podcast episodes breaking down the album. Seems like they had a lot of stuff to hash out and this album is very much them in process.

It fell off for me, and then I revisited and really loved it and moved it way back up on my list.

  8. I got into the band after Voyeurist came out, so I might be biased but it's by far my favorite album of the year. I go back to it at least once a week. Lyrically it resonates with me a ton and I really love the sound they went for. Very heavy and melodic at the same time. I did a deep dive of all their albums and I love all of them but I think Voyerist is my favorite by them. They've slowly become one of my favorite bands over the year.

The really good songs are REALLY good but there’s some filler I could really do without. I still listen to disambiguation constantly and really wish they would be that heavy again but I know that won’t happen and I can live with this sound

  10. I think it's my second favorite from them now. After DTGL.

It's probably the Underoath album I connected with least on first and second listen, but it grew on me a ton. It'll definitely be in my top five this year, and, echoing Jason, probably my second favorite behind DTGL.

  12. DTGL is easily my second favorite by them. The only album I don't listen to too much from them is Chasing Safety or anything before then

  13. I still love this album as much as I did back when Digital Ghost came out. Following my indifference towards Erase Me, this one renewed my faith in them, no pun intended.

Playing through now, I am going to try and do a few front-to-back listens this week. No doubt Damn Excuses, Hallelujah, Thorn, and Pneumonia as a closer could be set list staples for them.

There’s been a lot of bad music NFTs but using NFTs to lootboxify vinyl variants might be hands down the worst I’ve seen lmao

they should send new variants of TOCS to people who waited a year for the box set and received an unplayable copy but who am i to say

  17. Voyeurist is definitely one of my favorite heavy albums this year and occasionally approaches how I feel about DTGL, LITSOS, and Disambiguation. I love this record.

Absolutely love Voyeurist. It's definitely one of my favorite UO records. Falls within the top-3 depending on my mood on the other albums.

They are taking great steps forward from Erase Me. Stoked for the future!

Voyeurist is the best modern Underoath I could ask for. Probably my 3rd favorite behind Lost and DTGL.

I don’t come back to it much for some reason, but every time I do I’m reminded how solid it is

I would say that Voyeurist is probably my favorite record of theirs.

It’s definitely everything I’ve wanted from modern day Underoath and I hope the record has sold well enough for them to continue that sound.

If anybody has a Dirt Cheap store and is looking for the Target variant, I got Voyeurist for $5

This made its way back into my gym rotation and I truly forgot how amazing it is. Pneumonia is a monster of a final track.

Got a couple of listens in. This album is objectively great, but for whatever reason, I don't feel as connected to it as any of their previous albums. I have felt that way about a couple of albums from musicians I love that were released during covid. I am very excited for what comes next I think they have it in them to put out their best stuff ever. Post-reunion feels like it is building towards something amazing.

While I am at it here's my ranking of UO Albums.

    LITSOS
    Disambiguation
    DTGL
    Erase Me
    Vouyerist
    TOCS

I remember buying LITSOS, 808's and Heartbreaks, and Day and Age by The Killers from the Best Buy end cap and swapping between those three the entire winter of 2008. I also saw Underoath on the tour with Emery and ABR. They played Too Bright to See. That was the last time I saw them before Aaron left. Lots of great memories from that era.
