fantastic news, been on a bit of a kick of theirs lately and would be bummed if we never got anything else, they've been so consistent i have high hopes for what they can do with this set up.

 

I checked out that Whitechapel record from last year because I was in the mood for some br00tal shit at the gym yesterday. I had no idea that this what they sound like now but I was blown away at how good it was. It’s closer to the heavier music I listen to now that I’m old and can’t do 39 minutes of growls & breakdowns.

 

I like false black metal, so I'm enjoying this new Behemoth record quite a bit so far. Honestly had no idea this was even coming out today.

 

My comment about Behemoth is less related about how they sound and more about the fact that Nergal is a piece of shit who makes it hard to take their music seriously. When you do shit like this (Behemoth frontman says he lied about being kicked out of the YMCA) and happily cop for the homie behind Graveland on Instagram, it's pretty easy to write them off when there are dozens of other bands doing a similar sound better. Y'all go enjoy them if you want though.

This Sumerlands album is dope. Makes me want to watch Cobra Kai because they sound like they could be Johnny Lawrence's favorite band:

Sumerlands album is so good, dude sounds so much better than he did on the last album

 

Yo this is good. Like Chat Pile with saxasphone and a scottish accent. Granted I haven't listened to a lot Chat Pile... that's my comparison.

 

I listened to this (& Sumerlands) while having my morning coffee

 

It really is a fantastic and impressive album.
