  1. Luckily I saw Barbarian before “the hype.” I read someone’s comment in here that it was good and to not read anything about it, and then I went and saw it the next day and loved it!

  2. The hype doesn't take away from it being as good or wild as it is at all, it just kinds skews expectations haha. And it's nobody's fault either, this is just what happens in the age of the internet (and especially with horror having such a resurgence)

Really felt like Gourley didn’t want to watch the Chucky movies and half watched them especially post Seed which bummed me out.

Love seeing how well Pearl is being received initially. Probably gonna rewatch X this weekend and catch it next week.

  5. I'm pretty forgiving because he has a little one and I just enjoy the show so much. I was honestly just kinda shocked at his negative reaction to Curse (especially after praising 3 so highly, which I feel like is a pretty obvious low point for the series). I also completely understand Paul's gripes with the Child's Play remake, and many of them are valid, but I think that movie is a ton of fun lol

That score! Also they had a Stonehenge magic laser beam fry somebody’s face off, that’s a 10/10 for me

also watched The Black Phone yesterday, which I didn’t love

Rewatched Halloween Kills for the first time since it came out. What a weird movie lol. So many silly things I noticed this time.

Hell yeah for Jim Cummings as the other cop in the flashback, I don't think I was aware of him on the first watch

Michael getting sprayed with a fire hose

Old mortician yelling at a grieving Just Greer for no reason

Anthony Michael Hall just in general

The Johns' real estate advertisement on the bench

    Who calls their grandma "Grandmother"?

The second person that says "evil dies tonight" was not around when the first person said it, so two characters come up with that catchphrase separately

I can see myself revisiting this often just for how wacky it is. So ready for the new one, whatever the hell it's going to be.

Last week was good! Definitely a modern update for the Bravo series. Excited to watch last nights episode after I’m done studying.

  13. Finally watching Bingo Hell with a friend and this whips so much ass lol it's so dumb and fun and colorful and gnarly. The reviews are so bad, I literally feel like I'm watching a different movie. Real camp/old-school B-movie vibes and Richard Brake crushes as always

  14. Okay so I loved Urban Legend last weekend. Someone give me a rundown on whether the sequels are worth watching, AND which I Know What You Did Last Summer movies are worth watching (never seen the original). I do like 2000s teen schlock

I can only speak to I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I recommend it - if for nothing else, Jack Black's dreadlocks

The first I Know has one of the most infuriatingly frustrating deaths of any movie to me. I enjoy the movie but get SO angry at that part omg. The sequel has Brandy! It's at least worth watching in my opinion. I have watched I'll always know, but I truly don't remember anything about it. I even just re-read the summary on Wikipedia and I have no recollection of this movie even though I know I've seen it

The ending of the 2nd Urban legend is kind of fun. The bloody Mary one has Kate Mara lol. It also has a spider scene that used to really freak out my younger siblings. I have low standards though. A horror movie has to be pretty terrible for me to not feel like it was at least worth it for entertainment
