There were like 5 or 6 things I'd play on that direct and that doesn't include the resident evil games that I won't play since they are cloud versions

 

I really hope there’s no Skyward Sword-like gameplay. The air gliding was so frustrating.

 

Yeah. I can’t understand the point of streaming versions. So I’m just always gonna rely on my PlayStation for any new RE games.

 

Are cloud games really that bad?

 

Various Daylife is an extremely funny name, that’s my only opinion on the direct. Can’t wait for Octopath 2

 

I don’t know if it’s just my internet that sucks, but every streamed game for me has some noticeable lag to it.

 

Excited about new Fire Emblem, Pikmin, the Kirby remake and all the Square Enix stuff, Zelda trailer was so-so, bummed about no WW/TP or Metroid Prime ports and the fact that Advance Wars is probably never coming out, so 50-50 on the whole

 

You must make time for both

 

I need that fire emblem collectors edition it better be at stores to preorder and not just the Nintendo store

the direct was shit and japan lost two years to covid

there's no reason a zelda game with most of the same assets and basically the exact same world with sprinkles would take six years

 

I'm pissed there was no Windwaker announcement and even I still think this was a fucking fantastic direct

 

We're talking about the Nintendo Switch. This console has ancient hardware and many games run like ass on it. This sequel seems to add complexity to a game that already has random slowdowns and a massive overworld. Performance is a very big issue to get past when you're trying to add new things on top of something existing. That adds to development time for sure

I've never played any of those Square HD2D RPG games but man how in the world is that dev team pushing these out so quickly?

 

bad direct other than Zelda but they're almost all bad. To be fair there aren’t a ton of realistic things that would get me super excited, but I was hoping for Metroid prime.

 

The war in Ukrain caused them to delay advance wars until 2025 when the us goes into another war and it gets delayed again

 

I mean that sure is the Metroid logo in the golden eye trailer.
They could’ve picked any other logo.

I mean, first, we've barely seen any of the game, so it's impossible to know if it's "the same exact world with sprinkles" and if it's "most of the same assets".

Even it does though, so you're upset because what, the game didn't come out sooner? Still a weird position to take in order to be so venomous.

I dunno, Nintendo showed a lot of good shit this Direct and they've been doing pretty well game-wise over the last two years. If Zelda is literally the only Nintendo franchise you care about then I can see why you'd be disappointed, but even then your spin is baffling.

Okay, but what does that have to do with Sports Story? Or was this a joke that flew over my head?

An A Wonderful Life remake would have been amazing news about a decade ago but frankly I don't trust them to make even just solid games anymore. I hope I am wrong though.
