I didn’t have a problem with Kulu not starting but I thought Conte should’ve brought him a lot sooner. He’s clearly been in better form than Son and that didn’t change in the first half of this game.

First time this season I thought Hojbjerg and Bentancur looked bad. They turned the ball over way too many times.

 

They’re unable to create anything in the final third. I feel like we’ve been saying that about this team forever. No midfield creativity. No final third finishing.

How was that not a penalty for Barca? Davies was nowhere near the ball.

 

For me it's a 50/50. There was clear contact but also Dembele only looks for the contact instead of going for the ball. And the way the ref has let the game flow it makes sense for him to not to call that one.

So many poor passes by both teams. I feel like so many times there have been sequences of back to back to back intercepted passes in the midfield area.

there have been some tremendous passes, particularly by Barca in the final third, too

 

Leverkusen beating Athleti is not what I had on my bingo card today. Same with Frankfurt winning if I am being honest.
