Yeah I’m definitely going this weekend now, even if it’s bad the hype has me

Offseason was a cool little movie. Gets by mostly on atmosphere and decent performances. Might be kind of slow for some, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I just read that Kevin Smith will be making a sequel to Tusk, and suddenly life makes sense again

  11. Very much here for the Tusk sequel

Ours is on the 31st even though a Monday is a terrible day for one.

September is really good for horror.

Barbarian, Don't Worry Darling (trying to ignore the reviews), My Best Friend's Exorcism Pearl, Smile, Goodnight Mommy, and Sissy. Plus adjacent movies like the Munsters and Hocus Pocus 2.

Hocus Pocus is my favorite movie of all time, so I really hope the sequel is at least serviceable lol

Barbarian is absolutely unhinged in the best way and I can confidently say that most everyone in here should try their best to see it in theaters soon and please for the love of god, go in as blind as possible.

My only hope is that it's written by Jen D'Angelo someone who is really funny and that I like as a Doughboys guest.

I watched Chapter 1 of Lamb last night and had to go to bed. That was the slowest 40 minutes of my life followed by the most bizarre reveal that I had assumed I was dreaming it.

Will finish it this weekend, but I have no idea where it is going to go from there.

Off to the cinema this afternoon for a double bill of Crimes of the Future and Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.

I really hate how many films are released later in the UK. So often something will come out in America and I'll be excited to try and see it, just for it to not even have a release date. You'd think by now universal release dates for movies would be a thing.

Same. Really hyped about Barbarian and we don't even have a release date for it yet.

Very curious about Lamb. How would you describe the genre or tone? It seemed all over the place based on the trailers If i remember correctly.

I hope you enjoyed Crimes and Bodies, I thoroughly loved both!

Wanted to go in blind but they showed a trailer before Nope. Hopefully it didn't give too much away
