The coffee shop I'm working at started playing Champagne Supernova .

 

The American fascination with the British Royal Family just does not compute in my mind. I just don't understand it in the least.

I mean we're a country that for generations now grew up with "fairy tales" about princes and princesses and etc, some of which spoke with english accents. The allure of a 'royal family' that speaks our language and all that doesn't seem too far fetched IMO.

Most of the people I know who are my age (early 30s) that are really actually "into" them are women, many of whom used to think Prince William was a hottie and now many of whom think Prince Harry is a hottie lol. And of course they love the babies.

 

celebrity worship i guess and the fact there is no american "blood" royalty.
