No, I don't eat before working out in the morning. I would have to wait at least an hour or 2 before exercising then and would have to wake up way too early. The only exception is when I'm training for a marathon and my long runs get to be longer than 2 hours.

For most people there's no need to eat before exercise if you're working out for less than 2 hours.

First workout post covid is brutal, I was able to do most of my regular routine but towards the end definitely felt like there was some pressure on my chest lol

No. That’s the hardest part. I’m just doing body weight stuff at the moment, otherwise I’d prolly have to eat first aka just workout at night cause I skip breakfast daily

Nope, only because it makes me feel sick to jump around with food in my stomach. I can’t drink much fluid before either. I did a 5:30 am class today and then I made a protein shake after and had my tea. Then I eat breakfast around 9-ish. Just what works best for me!

I woke up before my alarm today and thought I'd try to exercise in the morning. Put in my contacts and had a pre workout. Was still too tired and did not exercise. I was looking forward to getting it done and having more free time after work today but oh well lol guess not. I get migraines easily including when I'm tired so I didn't wanna risk it when my body didnt wake up like i hoped. So annoying! I wanna be an early morning exerciser but I feel like my body just won't have it.

Edit: lol pre workout took a while to kick in I guess cause I didn't exercise and then my hands were jittery af and my liquid eyeliner looks like a mess oop.

Deadlifted 485 today. Definitely feeling confident that I can pull 500 at my meet in October.

Yeah, music inspires a lot. Also, a visible result gives me a lot of motivation. At the beginning of August I I set myself a goal to lose 50 lbs with the https://betterme.world/articles/how-to-lose-50-lb-in-2-mоnths/ program. However, I lost nothing during the first week, and I really got upset and almost gave up, but when the other week I noticed that the process began, it motivated me to keep up. So I hope till the end of September, I'll succeed with it.

Collagen is ideal repair protein that helps build an repair muscles, tendons etc. that stressed by exercise. I use Raw Science multi collagen pills, they easy in use and without any bad smell. Collagen comprises 90% of our connective tissues including joints , spine etc. The combination of high bioavailability collagen and amino acids make it an optimal post-workout diet absorbed and able to quickly restore the bode and replenish proteins broken down during training

Started a weight loss competition with my wife’s family. I know there’s some problematic stuff surrounding them/focusing on weight loss or whatever, but I need some extrinsic motivation to get in better shape. Was the heaviest I’ve ever been and felt like shit most days. Super tired, bad heartburn, stomach issues etc. With the school year starting up, I didn’t want my usual lethargy to kick in 2-3 days of the workweek.

Anyway, started last week and I’m down a couple pounds. More importantly I feel great. Energy is high, I’m sleeping well, I feel refreshed throughout the day. No exact plan, but: added cardio/weight workout daily, healthier food choices and portion control, cutting out excess alcohol (at least most days). Also started my morning with a protein shake. All beginner stuff, but it’s the most I’ve dedicated myself to getting healthier…ever, and I feel great!

Gained a solid ~70 lbs throughout the past three years as a result of some pretty unfortunate life decisions and circumstances but I'm proud to report that I am 35lbs down since May! Set a proper calorie limit and protein minimum for myself that I try and meet, been getting between 7-10k steps/day, and am drinking more water than I ever have. I've lost weight and rebounded before by doing keto but this feels way better and it's ironically easier. For the first time in my life I have a fridge full of healthy food! Gonna try and work my way into IF soon to see if it makes a noticeable difference.

If I could just forget it

Just bought a bunch of gym equipment for the basement... the stuff is not cheap, even when craigslist shopping. I look at it as two years of gyms memberships though, minus the hassle and headache of getting there and dealing with people curling in squat racks etc.
