Scheduled mine too!

 

Did my second booster last week. And then will get the new booster getting released in January or February.

 

Can’t wait to get my next booster lol. Sadly I have to wait another month or so since I caught Covid at the end of July :/

 

Not sure where everyone is but just scheduled the updated booster and my flu shot for next wednesday here in philly, tons of appointments available

 

As long as the replacements are not like, The Flaming Lips and Rise Against or even Run The Jewels. Please no.

I just realized that 2 of the 3 hip hop acts of Sunday have played Riot before. Coolio being the only one that hasnt.
And last year all 3 acts (RTJ, Vic Mensa and Big Freedia) have played Riot before too.

But to be fair it must be hard to book hip hop acts when you have Lolla, Pitchfork and now Summer Smash booking way more acts of the genre.

Personally, I would love to see jpegmafia, Death Grips or the now disbanded Brockhampton at Riot.

 

Correct me if I’m wrong, but haven’t Death Grips played Riot before?

 

They played Chicago in 2016. I feel like they may have done other cities that year too, but I'm not positive.

 

Not completely. Rise against wasn’t added. They re released shirts/hoodie with them on it a month or so after the festival

 

As someone that couldn't go last year, I'd happily welcome back RTJ lmao

 

I swore my shirt had Rise Against and Anthrax, I just checked and it doesnt lol

 

Oh dang- just finding out about Placebo. I'm deeply saddened by this news and I ask for and privacy and respect during this trying time in my Riot Fest anticipation journey. I remain excited for the fest and look forward to devoting 100% of my attention to Rocket from the Crypt during their now vacant time slot. #riotstrong

 

Can’t believe we are only two weeks away at this point. So stoked.

 

Daily weather update, no changes. At this point weather models are signaling pretty substantially warmer than normal temperatures. No real precipitation signals yet. Given where “normal” temperatures are this time of year, this type of signal would lead to temps in the mid to upper 80’s, which isn’t brutal but isn’t all that comfortable either.

Bassist of Polica has a brain tumor and went into surgery yesterday, no idea if this will affect their set at Riot at all.

 

I just saw on Reddit that tickets are not transferable. Does this mean that we can share them through the Eventbrite app but if we have a pdf it should be fine, right?

 

Besides scanning the barcode no one actually looks at the tickets so I wouldn't worry too much about selling or giving my ticket to someone else

 

I saw that too. My wife buys my ticket as a gift each year. It technically has her name on it. It has never been an issue. I just show the printed pdf, they scan it, and I go in. I anticipate no issues again this year.

 

I’m hoping we get our replacements tomorrow and my guess is Coheed for Friday and my dream would be Tenacious D Saturday but my optimistic guess is Pixies.

 

Yeah these people look like they are not paid enough to care about the name on the ticket.

 

My bet is that Thursday will replace Placebo.
Bauhaus replacement is tricky, there lots of options possible, but I dont think its Coheed. They played last year and a then Chicago show a month ago that got downgraded to a smaller venue.
