Not reading any wrestling news till I watch that as it will be all over them haha

 

When was the last time AEW had an interestingly booked title reign? Their booking outside of the title picture has generated a lot of interesting stories (Punk and MJF, MJF and Wardlow, all the stuff Eddie's done, I'm really enjoying the HOB and Jungle Boy/Christian stuff) but "XXXX wins the title and then does nothing since" is almost a bigger meme than 9:20 women's match at this point

 

Watching the Triple H/Helwani interview right now. Its deff gonna be a great one.

 

Its like a band that has that first album thats a smash hit but then afterwards it’s like, okay what do you have next? And it’s just mediocre shit haha

 

Just finished the interview and I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing Sasha, Braun, and Bray very very soon

 

My biggest issue with AEW has always been the "hype exhaustion" and I think the constant debuts (which all things considered, are legitimately well done and legitimately exciting) covered up the weak spots in the booking

 

I think the biggest problem with AEW is he’s good at booking up to the peak of the feud but then afterwards it’s like he doesn’t know how to keep the momentum going and people get lost. Which may be ok for midcard guys but it sucks when it comes to champions. WWE has this problem a lot too

 

The major problem I have with AEW booking, and tbh I don’t even think of booking the last while been too busy to take AEW at anything other than face value, is the lack of major feuds that the champions win. Seems to be thrown together short feuds here of there. Wouldn’t hurt to have a long/medium term chase that ends in failure.

Damn, hope Black is okay. Hope they give him time off to work through whatever he needs to and support him. Dudes been one of my favorite.

 

That Triple H interview was awesome, but holy shit when he opens up about almost dying.
