Just binged Grand Crew on Peacock. Super funny sitcom. Thank god it got renewed for season 2.

this and Abbot Elementary are scratching that network sitcom itch that’s been missing for a while now since the 2010s NBC Thursday night crop of shows wrapped

both shows are great and everyone should watch them!! I say it every chance I get.

 

I guess sheriff is right if you consider that HBO Max is included with my cell phone plan

 

In addition to getting a year of Peacock for $20 just now, I got three years of Disney Plus for $140, once that's up in a couple months I plan on switching to the Hulu Bundle. I use my brother's Netflix. I get various discounts on Prime every now and then. I'd also gotten discounts on Hulu with HBO for six months, that was a long ass time ago. I think HBO Max is the only service I've paid full price for consistently. It really sucks that WBD is burning it to the ground.

 

I’m a couple episodes into Paradise (Paraíso) on HBO Max and so far it’s alright. It’s set in Spain in 1992 and it scratches the Stranger Things itch if you’re looking for another show in a similar vein I suppose.

 

Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans is so fun! but then again of course I'd love it, I love multiversal shenanigans

I'm about halfway through Justice League vs. Teen Titans, I was about to say I wasn't really enjoying it, but then Starfire just did a magical girl transformation.

edit: I like that they show more of Raven's backstory (minus Garfield's creepy line about Raven's mom doing it with a demon) but it feels like they're just using Trigon as an excuse to get JL and TT to fight each other, and then once they get Clark back from Trigon's control he does most of the heavy lifting against JL anyway. Pretty below average DCAMU film. I think I just don't like Damian, who just happens to be the prominent Robin in these films. Clark and Diana dating is weird. And we definitely didn't need to sexualize Kori in that bathrobe. It's odd that I found this and Judas Contract to be so disappointing and yet I enjoyed the TT Go films so much.

 

Signed up for Peacock for the deal. What good childrens shows are on there so I can tell the wife it was for the kids? Lol

 

All the DreamWorks and Minions movies are on there

 

How long is that deal for? Seems worth it to me.
