I’m not super up to date on this whole HBO Max shit show, but the things I’ve been seeing on this page about it are disgusting. How much could it really be costing them to just leave the show up?

 

Everything Zaslav is doing is going to have such a massive ripple effect. Platforms are either going to see the backlash and refuse to replicate what he’s doing or see the savings and start slashing. What a nightmare

Incredible casting

 

What WBD is doing is extremely scummy and a slap in the face to creators who poured their heart and soul into projects... not to mention most of these properties aren't available by any other legal means. They're making it impossible to support those same creators by vaulting or purging that content from their platform since they still owns 100% of the rights. Just so they can save a few bucks.

 

I've been binging Close Enough sort of in the background while I work. Not my preferred method of enjoying a show, but I have no idea when they're going to take it off Max and I'd prefer to to not go through the hassle of torrenting the whole thing.

Almost through S1, and the show is great. Like a more adult-themed Regular Show, as expected.

 

Didn't like Gotham by Gaslight as much as I'd hoped. Particularly didn't like the twist or how caricaturized the villain's motives ended up being. as if killing Ivy wasn't enough, they killed Leslie Thompkins??? how dare. Selina was great in this, though. And it was fun to see the trio of Robins as kids.

Multiple Editions | Plex Support

Sometimes, however, you might have a movie that has multiple different “cuts”: Theatrical release, Director’s Cut, Extended Edition, Unrated, etc. Blade Runner is famous for having multiple different cuts released for users to watch. The original Star Wars trilogy is similarly famous for having both the original (theatrical) versions and then the later “Special Editions” (not to mention other fan-produced cuts). This is where Plex’s support for “Editions” comes into play.

Definitely a WAY different vibe than PLL but I enjoyed it for what it was. Don't know that I'd necessarily recommend it though

I mix up PLL and Gossip Girl in my head all the time, I don't know what the difference is

 

Well one is about a girl that gossips and the other is about liars who are pretty and kinda short

I go to Santa Cruz like at least 3-5 times a year and I’m just now watching the lost boys for the first time ever. It’s kinda wild to think how much movie history I just casually walked through not knowing much at all.
