Interesting I’ll check it out. Recently revisited ZDT and came away wanting a solid actual documentary about that whole time period after 9/11 leading up to OBL death.

Yeah it's really good. Probably one of Jeff Daniels best recent performances. The whole pre-9/11 investigations into OBL and the intelligence failures that let it happen it covers is fascinating. The story of John O'Neil is one of the most tragic ironies in recent american history and it's crazy that more people don't know it.

BJ Novak's new film "Vengeance" is great; some well-written dark humor

I kinda agree with you on the ending; it felt pretty out of place for the character he was up until that point.

It is super good. My advice is if you’re not familiar with the finance jargon (I’m not myself), don’t try to understand it lol. Just enjoy the characters and the story because they’re both great.

I wanted so badly to have the contrarian take on MI 2, but yeah…it’s just bad.

  11. Dark Knight Returns is good, on par with Year One and Long Halloween. Weird that it's in the same continuity as Year One as there's hardly anything tying them together aside from both being based on Frank Miller's work.

Ranking so far... (non-Bats in parentheses)

Best: Mask of the Phantasm, Under the Red Hood
Very Good: Bad Blood, (Catwoman: Hunted)
Good: Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween
Okay: Hush, The Killing Joke, (Teen Titans: The Judas Contract)

Barbara and Terra had better arcs in the Young Justice and Teen Titans shows

Gonna watch Batman Ninja and Gotham By Gaslight next

like so many documentaries these days, The Anarchists suffers rom being obnoxiously and unneccesarily way too long. This was 3 episodes TOPS. I guess they wanted to take you on the year by year journey and how it changed, but i think we could've accomplished that in half the time.

We focus way too long on certain people that end up being pretty irrelevant too.

Overall still a good story to hear about. The journey of these anarchist idealists and see how ill-conceived it all ended up being was definitely fascinating (although predictable).

Watch it or skip it? I say skip it unless you have time to kill. It's not bad or anything, just I wouldn't invest 6 hours into it.

What’s everyone think about Servant? My wife and I are working through season three. I like it quite a bit but can only watch it an episode at a time.

  15. Servant is great. Season 4 is gonna be the last, which seems like a good point to end it.

I was happy to hear that it’s ending with season 4, it’s definitely not the kind of story that should run for 5+ seasons. Very interested to see how they decide to end things.

I’m constantly amazed at how much they fit into 30 minute episodes. Kinda like how it felt watching The Bear

I'm watching The 100. Kinda old TV show. Started back in 2014, but the final season was last year. Liked it. Came across with it at https://www.firesticktricks.cоm/cinehub-apk.html, but I believe you can find it on almost any streaming service.

Three episodes into A League Of Their Own and like it. Was not expecting a three-way scene. About the only thing I don't like is the obvious CGI of the baseballs being thrown/hit/caught.

Servant is fantastic. I have so much fun watching that show. The writing is always unpredictable, the cast is great, and it’s visually appealing. Surprises me it doesn’t have more “mainstream fans,” but I guess that’s how it goes with horror unless it’s Mike Flanagan.

The performances have been one of my favorite parts! And I can understand given the subject matter why it doesn’t have a larger audience.

That’s true, it can be pretty dark, but they also manage to thread a good dose of humor throughout. I’m cracking up half the time I’m watching.

Yeah Servant is great, that and Severance are reasons enough to get Apple TV

  25. Both of those are great, but For All Mankind is my favorite thing on Apple TV (and probably my favorite currently airing show).
