I should probably clarify that it's not like I don't like the Beatles - I just don't care about them very much. But still, yes, happy to continue my role on this site as Big Stinker

 

went with transgender dysphoria blues. abbey road has some of my least favourite of the bigger beatles singles (come together and here comes the sun)

 

I listen to TDB often. It’s one of the most important (punk) rock records to come out in 50 years. I don’t know the last time I’ve played a Beatles record by choice

 

And without digging into a single lyric, it’s catchy as hell and easily their best record

 

Against Me! is one of my favorite bands of all time. Transgender Dysphoria Blues is one of the most important albums for me, as a trans woman. I hate the beatles, so this one is no contest.

 

Abbey Road is a very, very good album, but TDB is pretty clearly my favorite here. Helped changed my worldview and I’d reach for it over Abbey Road almost every time despite not really being into AM! otherwise

 

This sounds right to me.

Also I just don’t fuck with The Beatles. I’m sorry.

I ended up voting for Against Me! since after therapy today I am in a mood to stomp out some bigots.

Oh, I did not mean to make you feel that way about voting for one over the other as bigotry. I just meant I'm queer and the lyrics today are speaking to me more than the compositions and lyrics on Abbey Road today. I hope I did not upset you.

I recorded some songs with Laura last year like a week after the Beatles doc came out. Endless beatles jokes and fun times singing beatles songs into the night

I love these albums in different ways, but I love them equally
