it's a reference to the Olsen Gang, an old Danish TV series. It was super popular here in Germany when I was a kid.

 

I know this guy can be a hot head on the pitch, but I genuinely think he seems like an intelligent, thoughtful guy off of it.

This is fairly common in Germany and helps create a further bond between fans and players, and if done well it could be a cool idea.

Whilst I agree it’s crazy and I fear it won’t be conducive to survival, we had half of our first team on loan last season so there was no conceivable way of us not having to bring in this number of players.

Just hoping that if we sink back to the Championship it’s not in disgrace.

I honestly believe that Cooper can recreate the family ‘in this together’ vibe we had last season, particularly with Worrall, Yates and Johnson still here. We’ll see. It’s crazy we’ve already signed 11/12 players.

In good news, when I signed Neco Williams for Forest of FM I won the Champions League about seven seasons later and he was a key player so maybe they know what they are doing, haha…!

That prompted me to tweet this:

 

They can register like 5 of the 7 at this time, but we’re trying to not play hierarchy or anything. However, they supposedly promised Lewy he’d be registered in time to play this weekend no matter what (which tracks).

 

Take back all the compliments I had for Paramount+ and their coverage of the European club competitions. It makes zero sense for the past two weeks they have had minimal coverage of any of the games. They were showing a ton of the earlier rounds of these but they have had zero games being shown this week and a tiny amount last week.
