you say this like it would be a bad thing.

but also, where’s the ricotta, or the layers of pasta (would it be pizza crust here???) in the middle?

Is pizza not just dough, sauce and cheese?

This was fucking incredible, holy shit. Fully lived up to everything I heard about it. Some of the best and most realistic acting I've seen in a really long time and the directing is insane

  8. Very, very good. Probably pulled ahead of Severance as my favorite season of television this year. Thought the tone leveled out well after the first episode. Felt like the cooking version of Atlanta with just a smidge of Sopranos in there. So glad it's been renewed for a second season. I may just be tired of being in kidney stone pain, but the ending def got me a little worked up. Needle drops in this we're perfect.

  9. Was watching one of these a night followed by a couple of episodes of Joe Pera Talks With You and it felt like the TV version of a speedball lol

Y’all wanna hook a brother up?

The Center Cut is a (NSFW) podcast where we watch the first and last episode of a TV show season, or first 15 and last 15 minutes of a movie we've never seen and guess about what happened in the middle by fielding listener questions.

Our next episode is based around the first season of The Bear. We will be recording the middle of this coming week and could use your help! We need questions from you that would be easy to answer ONLY if we had watched the full first season. Again, we only watched the first and last episodes. And yes, we've heard that episode 7 is the best. If we like the ends of things enough we usually go back and watch the middle later. spoiler alert, I loved the ends.

Questions can be either plot based, character based, or anything and everything in between. We will include your chorus username in the show.

    Please and thank you!

There's a Willy Wonka prequel movie coming next year starring Timothee Chalamet. Really can't believe they didn't cast Jeremy Allen White

Watched this the other day. The first 6 episodes and the last 2 felt like different shows, but I especially enjoyed those last 2. One thing that felt off to me was the lack of customers. The show is mostly “back of the house” but barely any “front of the house” stuff.

The show films in Chicago so it sucks I wasn’t able to work on the first season (busy on another show) but I have friends who tell me about how fast smooth and easy the filming was. A lot of the scenes were done in just a couple takes. The 7th episode was rehearsed in parts but filmed together with moments they could use to cut just in case but they never needed to. Season 2 starts shooting in Feb so hopefully I get to be a part of it this time.

It’s not about the customers but to me it made it feel like there were less stakes and pressure when you don’t see them. (Except the nonstop online orders that’s terrifying) But maybe that’s just me.

And I’m just sharing some behind the scenes info! Not trying to flex like I got arms like Jeremy Allen White.
