I was thinking to myself about how now that Amazon owns MGM what legacy IP will they attempt to run with besides just 007 and Rocky? Then I realized that MGM owns Species, and now a Species reboot is all I want.

 

I've been a bigger Trier critic than just about anyone, mostly because I've seen what he can accomplish with films like Dogville or Dancer in the Dark, but this is sad news and hopefully he can work as long as he feels comfortable.

 

Good or bad I usually have strong feelings about his work, it’s always challenging and usually fascinating. I still haven’t seen the House That Jack Built, a friend of mine’s description has had me putting it off until an evening I can deal with all that.

 

Didn't he say some problematic shit at some point? Is it wrong of me to no longer be interested in his work?

 

Yes he said he was a nazi and verbally abused Bjork and Nicole Kidman
