I was very bored during the last movie. As a 35 year old man, they failed me as their target audience.

 

That spirit halloween movie looks like goofy, dumb halloween fun, count me in

 

Truly insane what's happening to Scoob and Batgirl. There's no way that both films are so bad that they wouldn't want to at least dump either of them to streaming. So bizarre to outright cancel them, but not The Flash lol

 

Just hit Shudder. More farmhouse horror, kinda looks similar to The Dark and The Wicked

 

Anyone watch They/Them yet?

Going to try to get in Prey, which seems to be getting positive reactions, this afternoon and then that tonight.

 

I think I'm leaning more towards They/Them being disappointing. I enjoyed parts of it and the kids were good, but horror/slasher wise it didn't bring anything new or interesting to the table imo

I think I just wanted it to be a bit more fast paced. Takes nearly 50 minutes for things to start happening. Definitely have to think on it more

 

I think that's the general consensus so far, but also have heard it's still definitely worth watching. Disappointing, but I'll still give it a whirl.

Didn't realize that was out today. May try to tack it on after Prey tonight. Really excited for Prey.

 

Damn, Prey was fantastic. Absolutely the best of the sequels and probably the best made movie in the franchise.

Watching Prey after I finish this ep of AHStories

 

Prey was great!

They/Them was alright. Being a conversion camp survivor (still queer, those places don’t work), I was worried about it being triggering—the most triggering part was it being a let down as far as slashers go.

 

Just gonna go ahead and add on here but Prey absolutely ruled.

 

Here to echo that They/Them is pretty weak as a summer camp slasher.

Watched Hatching tonight and there is about 25-30 minutes of that movie that is E.T. with a truly grotesque giant bird animatronic/puppet that RULES. The rest is good, but that animatronic is so good the rest of it can’t compare

 

Just noticed you can watch Prey with the Indigenous language dubbed in!

 

Yeah They/Them wasn't bad, just lacking. It's a shame, it seems like with a little more suspense, mystery building, and imaginative kills, they could've nailed it.

 

Enjoyed Prey. Dog had me nervous for it the whole time lol

 

Hatching was very good.

 

Had a lil release shindig last night and got too drunk but I am excited to FINALLY watch Prey tonight. Might triple feature with Messiah of Evil and Off Season.

Also, seeing Nope again tomorrow!

First watch for me! Very excited! I heard people compare Offseason to it, so I figured it would make for a good pairing.

 

Prey was so fucking sick lol oh my god. Probably my favorite of the year at this point
