This was in the line of questioning about Alex Jones taking the case seriously.

 

Air Force did similar shit with the PFAS at their base in Michigan. I believe they are also refusing to help or contribute to the clean up of it as well.

 

Can you imagine the insane shit on Jones' phone? He may have accidentally provided incriminating evidence into a lot of other things like Jan 6th.

 

You can't tell me that Manchin and Sinema didn't have a meeting before this "deal" was announced where Manchin told Sinema something like "ok, I've been the main bad guy since December, now it's your turn to take us through December"

 

Yeah Manchin pushing this has me thinking she'll fuck it up at the worst time. I'd be shocked if anything passes.

My fiancé is an environmental engineer that deals with PFAS and it is wild how inefficient standards have been. A lot of places that are "fine" are definitely not fine but met EPA regulations. They just updated said regulations but it's still wildly inefficient. We simply don't drink unfiltered tap water and try to avoid it where we can. Not everyone has that option.

Good point! I vaguely remember this from her early “comeback” period but had forgotten entirely.

I think she would say there’s a difference between her frustration with Beyoncé in 2022 and her efforts to claim ownership of her (undesired and traumatic) place in pop culture by acknowledging and ironically celebrating what’s happened in the past.

I don’t know if that’s a good enough way to look at it, but I think Beyoncé being a woman and making the reference in the present day are big factors in finding it unsavory.
