I haven’t done it in a few years… anyone here running a Chorus EPL fantasy still?

Wijnaldum to Roma. Wonder if he regrets choosing PSG over Barca… worked out well for us, though.

 

Finally happy with my Fantasy team! Just waiting for the pressers now to confirm if everyone will start.

 

I'm the opposite, very nervous. Just can't seem to get it right. Very worried about having Jesus too. Started out thinking he was a slam dunk pick and no brainer, but now he's at 72% ownership. If he scores, you basically get no benefit. But if he blanks, with the amount of people that will kneejerk him out, you're looking at maybe losing 0.2m in transfer value basically before the season has begun.

Going no Salah too, which I know I'll end up regretting.

 

Jesus' ownership is beyond ridiculous, and yeah, you're right that you essentially get no benefit owning him. You're essentially starting the GW with 10 players. Of course, you could captain him to get some excitement from owning him but I don’t really view him as captain material

No Salah is an idea I've toyed with but I always seem to end up going back to him. I wish I was more courageous, perhaps as the season progresses I'll reassess.

 

It’s tempting to get rid of Jesus. If he scores, he likely won’t rise cause everyone already has him, and if he blanks, you pick him up cheaper.

 

There also aren’t too many great options for forwards. He is clearly the best value. But so many people picking him makes it pointless lol

 

It would help if most of the top forwards were actually in the forward category. Ahem.

I think I've sussed something out in regards to conquering Jesus' ownership. All will be revealed on Friday night, of course.

 

I wasted about 2 hours doing a big dumb prediction thing at work and I hate all of it:

Really difficult to predict order between 7th and 16th.

 

in all seriousness much like every year I think we could finish anywhere between 2nd and 8th. I think we will be in and around the top 4 battle, but everyone from Chelsea to West Ham and Newcastle are close (and most importantly chaotic as fuck). I can't even begin to try work it out.
