Today is what happens when reading comprehension turns into wishful speculation, message board rumors develop into sources, and clickbait/SEO bullshit becomes news.

Needless to say it’s hilarious.

 

I just love how people are pissed at the guys instead of the assholes posting on Reddit, "My uncle works for Kerrang/blink's management company/blah blah blah".

I also remain skeptical that Q101 ever even stated that blink had an "announcement" to begin with. Even Mark seems to be pissed at them but... It's much more likely that they said something like "We'll discuss blink-182 news on Monday" and a few idiots misunderstood and ran to Reddit to proclaim that the band was making an important announcement on Monday.

It just makes me laugh that it starts and ends with Reddit. It's a perfect circle.

they're definitely assholes. even this morning they were like "TOM IS OFFICIALLY BACK IN BLINK-182! all the signs point to it. we just need them all to announce it already!"

 

IMO it's the worst kind of irresponsible posting because if in 2-3-90 weeks the band does make some announcement, they seem to be the kind of outlet that would go, "SEE WE WERE RIGHT."

They speculated based on internet gossip, didn't have a story, and were dead wrong.

 

Everyone knows the real announcement will be on Friday.

Tom tried to make another post on ap.net but when he got redirected to chorus it threw him off
