I'm excited now. I'm probably gonna do a Lana cover and an original for the Halloween comp. I got one I wrote inspired by a Supernatural episode/horror trope.

I already did a cover of tango til they're sore by Tom Waits and my voice is really spooky on it but idk if I like it

 

I don't get it and I'm sure I'll feel stupid when you explain it

 

(It's a pressure cooker, pressure being the key word. Pressure builds up in a pressure cooker to cook things.)

(It's also midnight here where I am, and I'm very tired, so it may not makes sense to me in the morning )

Maybe I got this whole analogy from the fucked up part of my brain because I googled it totally sure that it was a saying, but all I'm getting is news reports about what happened in NYC, how to control my anger at work and advertisements to actually buy a pressure cooker.

I don't know, it might be an Australian, regional humour thing as well.

@bradsonemanband I feel like you just got an insight to the conversations you might have with the locals when you go to Sydney.

 

I pretty much just have vocals and mixing for my cover, so I may try my hand at an original.

 

I'll make sure I write it down so I can use it casually at a bar or restaurant, when I'm mingling with all the locals, haha.

 

My cover of the King Diamond song is almost all recorded, ha. I may do another cover or an original. I can't decide!

 

I'm super interested to hear as many originals related to this theme as possible
