That Acacia Strain show in Brooklyn has Terror as Direct support in lieu of sansuagugabog or whatever the fuck they are called

 

the fact that TWA is still a band is wild in 2022. Let’s be honest. At their HEIGHT, they could headline a 500 cap with ok support?

Surprised Beabadoobee is playing Brooklyn Steel here in the city with a two day gap in front potentially anticipating a second night added. I don't believe she even sold out the Warsaw in June.

 

when they were at their peak with deceiver and life cycles I went to two headliners of theirs that were very full, but that also could have been they had really good support (for the genre). One had Abandon All Ships, Upon A Burning Body, For All Those Sleeping, and Color Morale.

the other had Chelsea Grin, Like Moths To Flames and Sylar.

 

That was the DRUGS and CtE co-headliner… show was super solid.

sadly, yea TWA is sort of just there now.

 

Without a doubt! Though they tend to do short runs, so I'm keeping my expectations low as to whether or not it winds up coming to the northeast. Hah.

I'm also feeling less enthusiastic about the band since it went from a "super group" fronted by Spike, where all the members were friends who would fuck around and make fun of each other back and forth on-stage... To basically a bunch of C-tier hired guns with no real consistency or chemistry in terms of banter.

I wonder if the early California dates will be just Napalm Death and Brujeria. None of the three openers appear to be on those dates. I hope we get someone cool.

I wish I could go to the Gainesville show… High Dive is significantly smaller than the rest of the venues on there.
