I second this 100%, any thing to get more Bruce Campbell in my life.

 

Watched The Poughkeepsie Tapes last night. I'm still a little weirded out.

 

Absolutely loved the Wolf Creek series, Eve is such a great character. I find it funny that they had Lucy Fry, an Australian actress play an American tourist in Australia though

Gonna have to revisit the film now.

 

It just blows my mind that adults think this is acceptable behavior to pass onto their children.

In other news, we followed that up by finally watching the Conjuring 2 and I really enjoyed it. Not a 'great' movie by any means, but highly entertaining and it didn't drag despite being over 2 hrs long.

honestly if it weren't for suicide squad I would say it was the worst edited and least thought out movie I'd seen in the last few years

the editing was pretty bad. major let down for a RZ movie.

I actually really liked Lords Of Salem and was really excited for his next movie because of it. It was at least a new direction for Rob Zombie. I would say this movie is significantly worse and at best retreads territory he's already been. The best part about it is Doom-head and you can pretty much just watch the first 5 minutes and see all you need to see lol

 

no, i just think it's one of his best, haha.

 

really don't get why people hate on that movie, it's pretty easily the most promising thing Rob Zombie has done and definitely the best use of Sheri Moon Zombie.

 

ah, gotcha, hahaha, i wasn't a huge fan. i like surreal stuff but i thought it was a lot of pseudo-symbolic nonsense, not exactly why i watch rob zombie films (but i'm glad others enjoy it)

 

I feel like because of the hate Lords Of Salem got he made 31 and appease the fans of Devils Rejects and it really shows.

 

Double featured Blair Witch and Don't Breathe tonight. Enjoyed them both, loved Don't Breathe. That one went to some fucked up places haha.

Blair Witch was good, but I feel like it was a recreation of the first film with ramped up intensity to try to satisfied or more steeled horror audience. Any complaints one would have about the first film would be easily applicable to the new one.

It honestly felt like a great throwback to 70's supernatural horror in my opinion.

 

So I showed my dad the kennel clip from the upcoming Scream Factory release of The Thing, it straight up blew his mind how good it looked. Speaking of Scream Factory, what ever happened to @irthesteve?

 

Knock Knock is horrible in the best way.
