    Side note: Matt’s main band has always been Alkaline Trio, and with Mark dealing with treatment and recovery from cancer and Travis dealing with his own medical issues and recently getting married, why wouldn’t Matt want to be out staying busy. Plus those guys also have a ton of other projects too. Maybe joining Blink was just a fill in the gaps thing for him while Derek took some time off Trio. If they scrapped an album/Ep from Blink already, who says anything is happening in that camp anytime soon. I think priority would be everyone getting healthy.

    Matt’s always been more of a hired gun too, and with that the bands productivity skyrocketed. I wouldn’t always use peoples social media as a means of gauging things. Sports has taught us that repeatedly.

    I’d get if Nine sucked, they could easily move on. Record is cool though…so….unless his personality is a problem, and now they are post lockdown restrictions….and really he’d be out of work if it was his only deal for the time being….I think people just need to be patient. He may not be their best friend, but they making more music with him than the other guy, who’s involved in whole bunch of projects.

    I swear, blink would need to post "Matt is still in" every single day on social media to stop this nonsense speculation.

    If Matt left/got kicked out, they will say so. Blink has been inactive because of the pandemic followed by Mark's (and probably now Travis') health situation. Matt is also in Alkaline Trio, and there hasn't been anything stopping them from being active post lockdown, so they're doing their thing.

    People are just scouring for hints because they want Tom back desperately, so he can rejoin for a couple years before getting bored and leaving again to do what he actually wants to do.
