i hope this doesnt end up like newsroom. where they basically go "ughhhhhhhhh fine, one more season i guess" and they sorta just phone in a final 8 episode season

 

I have complete faith in this final season

 

In not allowed to doubt this season after wholly doubting s2

 

Not sure how that would be possible when Lindelof said he only wanted one more season and even wanted less episodes to get it done in.

 

Rewatching this now. I read somewhere that season 3 will probably premiere in April to fill in for GoT.

 

Sucks that we have to wait until April but The Leftovers/Silicon Valley/Veep will be the greatest lineup of all time.

 

I finally caught up with this. I seriously laughed out loud at that trippy Kevin episode and again when that happened in the finale. It was soooo much like LOST.

 

I was in awe the whole time, especially during the karaoke scene. With all the build up to that point, its probably my favorite scene in television in the last few years.

 

That second season was one of the best seasons of television I've seen in years.

"Let the Mystery Be" is such a fantastic theme song.

 

Agreed, but for the sake of symmetry i wouldn't mind if they changed it for this last season

I think I liked the first season better.

But the hotel episode in season two might be my favorite episode.

 

The karaoke scene is my favorite scene in the series, maybe one of my favorite scenes in all of television

 

It's fantastic. It also reminded me a lot of the karaoke scenes from Only God Forgives.

Love that movie.

Season 2 is much better than 1. Sometimes watching the second season I thought I was watching one of the best shows ever. So damn good.

I thought I'd be sad for April without Game of Thrones, but this will do quite nicely.

 

Season 2 is one of my favorite seasons of any show. Ever.

 

Sweet. So excited to see how it ends.
