The Camp Trash record is fucking awesome. Really hoping I connect with the new Dear Hunter album.

 

I released my second full-length solo record today. It was a four-year effort and I'm pretty proud of it. It's about half alt-rock jams and half quieter acoustic fare, so hopefully you find something in there you dig if you are kind enough to give it a shot.

Camp Trash is great! I really like the new Dear Hunter. I love all their stuff but not gonna lie, Act V was kind of hard to digest. It sounded way too much like Act IV in terms of production (because they were created at the same time), and songs just didnt stand out to me as truly unique. I am really digging the new record! It's a totally different vibe from them. Very jazzy, dancy, and multi rhythmic, without sacrificing the prog elements i love. Lot of great layering. Vocal melodies feel fresh and new. I think this is a big W for The Dear Hunter. I haven't been this excited since Act 4.

 

The Dear Hunter, new Anberlin single and Satyr - Totem. I highly recommend Satyr, a cool progressive post-hardcore/metal band with riffing akin to Protest the Hero with clean vocals that remind me of Emery and harsh vocals akin to The Fall of Troy.
