Yea I had my worst symptoms when I tested negative. Felt almost normal and started testing positive.

 

Super anecdotal, but I trust the rapids a lot more after having Covid. Definitely a question of whether tests are helpful in knowing if/when you start being contagious, but as someone who’s been skeptical of the rapids the whole time, it was actually reassuring to see the line consistently show up but getting lighter with each day’s test as I got into the “end quarantine if negative” phase of it.

 

Many Republicans have willfully ignored all of the evidence. They're not watching the hearings. They didn't watch the footage of the riot. They've already made up their minds about what happened, which renders most of these hearings moot.

The only real purpose of the hearings is to prod the justice department into actually charging people with crimes, and even that outcome is doubtful.

 

nobody but liberals desperate to see trump face any consequences (he won't) are watching the hearings.

 

If the DOJ isn’t going to do anything I’m personally just ready for the Jan 6 hearings to wrap up or go on pause and let’s start investigating the Supreme Court. I’m all for it if I thought the dems could do two things at once but they care more about pto than doing what’s needed. There needs to be urgency and action on the Supreme Court right now. We’re probably getting the EPA gutted today.

 

Hi! I was sick mid-late last week and on Friday I went to the walk in clinic and when I told the doctor that I was negative on the rapid test she said those are at best 30% accurate and she doesn't really take any patients word for it when they say theyve tested on a rapid test.

when i had covid and felt like absolute dog shit for 5 days i took 2 different rapid tests that both said negative. when i finally got to take a regular test it came back positive.

 

Yeah I think the PCR tests don’t pick up the new variants as well as the original strain

Outside of just "they're bad faith actors so fuck it" - If the equal rights amendment had passed would they have been as easily able to overturn Roe?

 

Saw this posted yesterday but I tend to agree with this decision in the fact that if they let this go through, my guess is the appeals court would have tossed out the conviction because of this. Michigan also has a left leaning majority Supreme Court and even had one of the Republican justices recuse himself. This kind of sums it up from a bit of the legal perspective and these cases are going to get resubmited.
