this bands fans are being so fucking embarrassing on twitter today. acting like they’re actually the real victims and crying about being made fun of for having strawberry emojis in their display. fucking pitiful I’m starting to not want to listen to or associate with this bands shit in any way shape or form. I haven’t listened to them since the tilian stuff came out and I haven’t decided yet if I’ll even give the new album a shot, I know if I do it’ll be a one and done because it’s permanently tainted

It’s honestly sickening I can’t see this new headlining tour in any other light than them wanting to capitalize on a new album release (featuring a rapist on lead vocals) and make as much money as they can from it instead of taking the much needed break they should to get their fucking shit together and decide how to move forward. It’s a cash grab, it’s an insult to Tim, and it’s honestly sickening. I won’t be going to this tour and I anticipate it’s mostly going to be a fucking disaster. Coheed did them a favor by kicking them off and instead of doing what’s right and stepping out of the spotlight for just one fucking second they’re saying fuck that and touring after a whole whirlwind of events that would send any band spiraling. I don’t know any other way to view this than a cynical grab for money.

 

I imagine if you’re a band of their size with so much money involved for so many different people it’s hard to just jam the brakes on an album cycle, but yeah, it’s scummy and leaves a horrible taste in my mouth for these dudes

 

Bigger bands than them have taken breaks during album releases for less, but they’re signed to rise who from what I hear is all about that $$$$$$$ and dgd is their biggest cash cow, so I’m sure the label pushed them to do this tour as well but it all leaves me very very cynical about their true intentions

 

And I know I need to change my avatar but I can’t on mobile and I’m going through some shit IRL that has left me too depressed to get out of bed and get on my PC

thanks y’all, it’s been on my mind for a while that it needs changing but yeah I was laid up in the hospital for over a week and now my gf has been in the hospital for over a week (for different reasons but both quite serious), we’ve been having a really rough time and I’ve never felt so low in my entire life. shit sucks.

I'm currently going through a rough time being out of work and trying to get on disability because of a chronic illness and I'm probably at the lowest point in my life. So I understand how you're feeling. Just know you're not alone in any of this. We'll all get through this rough shit with time. Sending you and your gf nothing but good vibes.

part of me wants to go to this tour, would be very cool to see them with kurt again, but at the same time as people here have said it just feels kinda... icky

 

I'll listen to the album and enjoy it most likely, but I'll definitely like it less than if none of this had happened, which is frustrating.
