I came home from a show last night and realized my lip is split open. Dunno what happened but it is just wonderful timing because I am going somewhere nice on Saturday of course! Now I get to meet all these new people with a cracked open bloody lip. Wonderful!!

  7. Kinda interestingly? I think I did a good job of keeping my composure and quickly shutting it down. It just came out of nowhere and I was pretty startled. We weren't talking about religion or anything, and I wasn't even involved in the conversation at the time because it was with one of my coworkers about her project.

No, I was too busy trying not to flip my shit over my boss outing something pretty personal to me, and something I worked very, very hard to keep out of my work life.

My boss will literally tell me to do something just so he can later say in front of everyone that he never told me to do that thing to make me look like an idiot. He's an asshole, but I know as long as I keep making him look good in front of management and laughing at his jokes that I'll get a raise. Corporate america!

Fucccckkkk CenturyLink. Fuck them so much right now. The service was so bad and I work from home so I got fed up and wanted to cancel early. (because when the internet constantly cuts out, I can't load my jobs which means no money) Was told the cancellation fee was prorated and would be roughly $50. Was like w/e fine. Then they didn't even cancel it so multiple phone calls later, they cancelled it and was told since they messed up and it took so many phone calls, they wouldn't charge a cancellation fee. Get a bill in the mail for $200!!!!!! They refuse to budge at all. Was supposed to get a call from some supervisor yesterday, didn't happen. Call again today, this asshole tells us there is no one higher than who we talked to last week (even though he said there was....) and we can call as many times as we want, we have to pay the $200. And it is due in a fucking week. A week to come up with $200 that we were never even told we would have to pay. Fuck them.

I think I've applied to 35 jobs in the last 2 days. Trying to find part time work that will fit in with dialysis is awful. And since I got diagnosed in 2007, my work history is severely lacking. Ugh.

Edit: I spoke too soon! I have an interview Oct 4th!

I'm not raging, but I'm completely blown away at how dumb my mom was this week.

Apparently a few days back, she claims her computer had a pop up with a virus warning and it was talking to her telling her it had a virus. It told her to call a number or the computer would crash. She fucking called it. She paid them $150 by giving them her checking account number for an "e-check", so she says. There are a couple of new programs on the desktop screen that seem vague shady "protection" programs.

I only found out because she had opened up a separate window for the receipt and minimized it. I don't use the computer a lot since I have an iPhone. I asked her about the receipt and found out about everything above.

Ugh. WTF? I was like, "why didn't you ask me about it? Or take it to Best Buy?" She got a ton of protection and stuff through them, so she already paid for help with it. She said she was kind of worried after I told her she needs to check on her stuff. She fucked up. But she talked with the bank already and no charge had come through. With worries me more for some reason. It took everything in me to not scream "you idiot! Why did you do that?!" Hahaha it's insane.

    So how fucked is she?

She now realized how dumb it was and is taking it to Best Buy. God only knows what they put on the computer.

I already changed any passwords I had ever entered on it. Luckily I don't use it much or use many things on it.

I've been put on two projects that are literally demanding 100% of my time each. Each one of them wants 100%, I work from 6am to 9pm to keep up and any time ANY TIME I am working on one project the other is calling/emailing/asking where their stuff is.

To make things more frustrating, my senior project manager is on both, is aware of this, and is the person 90% asking/demanding things. Will literally pull my attention to Project A and need it ASAP. Then ask why Project B is running behind. In the same fucking breath.

So burnt out. I have a cold too. And a third project with a Friday deadline...

Ok this rando at my house turned down the heat like naw I'm cold always don't mess with me!! I asked my rm how long the rando would be here and she said she's leaving soon. It's just weird. She's not that annoying but it irks me more that she doesn't even live here and is like using the rest of my lysol wipes and adjusting the temp

    I have a few frustrations.

I don't understand one of my friends at times. My job physically exhausts me, especially the past few weeks, to the point where I have no energy to do anything, not even laundry. She will hit me up saying she really needs a friend and a girls night wanting to go out drinking. I have to keep telling her I'm tight on money, and she will say she is too. Then I'll decided to be a good friend and go out only for plans to fall through and her to say she no longer has money. I also have to drive 45 minutes to her place, which is a complete waste of gas. She's done this several times. She needs to figure her shit out and take time for herself for a little bit.

Next frustration. I have this co worker who pretty much kisses ass so she gets away with doing nothing and not doing the job she's suppose to be doing. I've been told that several people have complained to the big boss about it, as well as department supervisors and nothing has been done. She will try to leave early (and the department supervisors let her) and leave my section short handed. I have mentioned this to the supervisors how we can't be left short handed like that and explained what happened because of it and they didn't seem to care. It was basically an "oh well we're trying to figure said thing out first". Luckily there weren't any emergencies these past few times. I have spoken with other co workers about how this person leaving early all the time makes things chaotic because 2 people are left to do a 4 person job, in which one person gets forced into staying past their shift, that person being me. With talking to these co workers they told me to go to the big boss about it. Maybe if this person gets more complaints something will be done. I'm pretty much getting ready to quit, but it's so hard to find a job where I live.

After two years, it looks like it's over. I'm at a complete loss for words. I'm absolutely numb. I didn't think I would have to start over. I thought I found the person I would be with. But here I am. Having to hit refresh on my life again. I have to move back to my parents house. I'm alone.

I am usually very very against yelling at someone who did not directly offend me or fuck my life up. So I'm gonna go ahead and call myself out here because tomorrow someone at Discover will have their new one ripped a new one.

But let's be real, it's not someone, it's many someones. It's a proverbial clown car of people whose only job description is "be the daftest asshole you could possibly be."

I hate when ppl assume specific things about ppl. I know we make snap judgments, but when people build up this specific image of who you are based off nothing, it's ridic. I gather info about ppl and put pieces together as I learn more. From there I kind of start filling in blanks with their personalities and what I know about them. I may not always be right, but idk it's coming from somewhere. I don't just assume the life they've lived and what they've experienced from thin air. idk. My old rm used to do it constantly and I still encounter ppl like that and I don't understand them. I can't even explain it properly.

It's just frustrating cause when ppl put me in this box I get weird and find it more comfortable to fit inside it because I don't want to draw attention to myself. I just wish people were more open-minded.

Yes all of this x 10000.

To further expand on this, people who may assume how you will respond to something in a conversation. I really don't like it. I mean you're not psychic, you can't always know. And assumptions end up leading to arguments and misunderstandings and that's not good either. React after it happens, not before it happens. The "Ah well I didn't think you'd like/not like this/say this/not say that!" It's just irritating and arrogant. Sure there may be common patterns but sometimes people will say things that you don't expect (whether for better or worse).

tbh I find that most of the time when people assume what I'm gonna say or what I'll be upset about they're wrong, and I'm more irritated that they weren't upfront with me to begin with!
