Smoking cigarettes might be one a decline with the youth but juuls, e cigarettes etc definitely aren’t.

True, and while not safe they are definitely safer than cigarettes and with far fewer secondhand effects.

 

Weren’t they fucking ip kids lungs from overuse and had a shitton of nicotine in them and such?

 

Freedom includes the freedom to do things that aren’t necessarily good for you. Obviously there are guardrails that exist to limit harm to others, like age limits, banning drunk driving, restricting secondhand smoke, etc. All good and necessary things. But beyond that, leave people the fuck alone.

After creating subsidiaries using a unique Texas law, all four parent companies immediately moved the new firms to North Carolina, where bankruptcy precedents favor companies.All four subsidiaries declared bankruptcy within about three months of being created. The one created by J&J filed Chapter 11 in less than three days.

Sorry dude, but part of that liability, if your company is making thousands of people sick and/or killing people, is a bad reputation and maybe having to actually go out of business because your company fucking sucks.
