Honestly, $11B for mental health is more than I expected them to agree on. It's still just a quarter of what we're spending on weapons to Ukraine, but that's more than just "we're pretending to care about mental health so that we can ignore guns" money. It's still pathetic that this is all we can get and this bill wouldn't have stopped either the Buffalo or Uvalde shootings, but everything is an improvement at least

We rode our bikes on the trail Biden likes to ride/fall off his bike on yesterday. Saw some secret service camped out at the entrance, and there was a sign saying the park was closing between 6-8 pm, but didn’t see him. So maybe he was going for an evening bike ride or getting choppered out from there or something
