Damn if I had known the Smidley album was still a whole 5 months away I would have re-subbed to the Patreon in time for the stream! Sounds like it ruled, though. Really excited to hear the new one, I thought the last Smidley record fit perfectly in the transition in sound between Dealer and NMG, and definitely got Smidley vibes on some of the DDTM tracks, too.

Not sure if it got posted to the thread, but the band said in an instagram comment that a wide release for the DDTM "almost live" Moment House performance is officially happening!

Wonder if they’ll have the live record on tour before the 8th because I’m going tonight and was looking forward to grabbing it.

Also broke down and looked at the Nashville set list after initially thinking I would let it be a surprise and uh..looks pretty pretty good.

Seeing them next weekend in Brooklyn, very excited for this after being slightly letdown when I saw them open for Manchester Orchestra. Last time I saw them headline they were unreal.

 

Got 3-4 fewer songs last night but apparently they encored with Rory after not doing one the night before.

Of fucking course I didn’t stick around lol
