Bought the 4K release of Lifeforce from scream factory, never seen the movie before. It has the theatrical on the 4K disc and a directors cut in regular Blu-ray. Which do I watch as someone with fresh eyes?

Watched Offseason on Shudder. Thought it was pretty good. Curious to see what everyone here thinks of it. The score was probably my favorite thing about it.

 

Severin sale this weekend. I'm a pretty big novice when it comes to spaghetti splatter, so I don't think I own anything from them. Grabbed Absurd (Monster Hunter), Zombie 3, Night Killer and Skinned Deep.

 

Can't remember if they showed a trailer for this on The Last Drive-In last week or not, but I looked up the cast and Joe Swanberg and Richard Brake have me interested. Will look into it!

Also, tonight is "dysfunctional family night" on TLDI and I'm hoping for The Baby and Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker, two that have been on my list for a while. I wound up not finishing last week's episode because I had just watched Hellbender recently.

 

Skinned Deep is bonkers. Something kept me from totally loving it, but the third act absolutely delivers. I think you'll love it based on how much you enjoy TCM2.

 

Man, I wanna take advantage of this sale so bad but I am much more of a novice. Thinking about just doing a few blind picks but any additional recs would be greatly appreciated from anyone who is aware of the sale! I may just copy @OhTheWater though haha.

 

I have never ordered from Severin and I already gave in to one sale I shouldn't have, I'm not even gonna look at this one lol
