Nah, again, thats WWE booking. Swerve for the sake of swerve. Giving the shot to a guy who isnt even top 15-20 most over guys in the company is an objectively bad move

AEW's focus on in-ring action keeps them strong; it also helps them avoid the really stupid stuff like putting the belt on a Brock and letting him sit at home 90% of the year. But there's definitely some pitfalls every booker seems to hit

 

So this makes the TNT belt essentially the US title haha
