Yeah they’ve got tour dates coming up and I’m interested to see what step they’ll take

 

I mean going and making the next one to me means they’re probably planning on doing it without tilian

 

I think that makes it clear what they’re gonna do since they don’t need one

 

All I gotta say is that it looks like you're jumping through hoops to try to prove he's not famous enough to have had any influence, and I think most of the people in here are saying 'but y tho?'.
The only thing that matters is if you think his behavior was appropriate, or inappropriate (hopefully the latter), and then if that inappropriate behavior crossed the 'I can no longer support' line or not. I don't think this needs to be a discussion where you try to convince people it wasn't that bad because his band isn't really that famous. (which btw, you are absolutely wrong about their popularity, and this comes from one of their top streamers/concert goers over the years).

Seriously tho fuck Tilian. Never seen them and haven’t seen Coheed since ‘10. Was so looking forward to this tour. Totally get why they did it.

Yeah I’ve never seen DGD so this sucks. Coheed is my favorite band so I was super looking forward to this. Totally understandable on their part. Fucking Tilian man.

Jumping through hoops. I simply said the aggression was inappropriate. So calm down with that.
Second I was saying the band isn’t famous & he’s a predator that hunts his own fans.
& I certainly am not down playing a single aspect. The dude is wrong. I literally have zero defense. I don’t care for him personally.

Tilian came up to me at during a show in Denver & confronted me thinking I was talking trash on his band (Tides). He had me confused with another audience member but I haven’t liked the guy since that day. When he got a chance at joining Saosin I thought it was the wrong move for them. & I am not a huge fan of his time in DGD. More so than JC but Kurt has been my favorite vocalist.

& I’m not wrong. This band may be big to you or this site but they aren’t famous. They’re opening for Coheed. Coheed isn’t even close to the size of Blink. Blink is famous. Coheed is mildly famous. DGD is successful but def not even close.

You spent a lot of time reading into my comment. Maybe take that turn & energy & put it into something productive.

I don’t know why you’re arguing whether DGD is famous or not. Like why does it matter? He has a platform and reach that most people do not have. Whether you call that “famous” or not is irrelevant, all that matters is that he abused that power and influence he had. Talking about what level or “fame” (or not fame) Tilian or the band has is irrelevant.

 

Only time I saw DGD was with Johnny so that’s not great either lol

 

Does anyone have an extra fame chart lying around? I must have been absent the day this guy got his and mines outdated. How famous is Counting Crows compared to DGD and Imagine Dragons right now?
