    Sending my love

It's the touring musician...they usually have 6 on stage. I don't know his name...Nathan? He's been with them a few tours now

I remember Adam admitting in an online chat that autotune was used on his and Fazzi's voices on the Live from Bamboozle and Acoustic live albums.

Yup! I think Nate is actually related to one of the band members. I could be wrong though.

I feel like that is very purposefully placed since it's supposed to be like a dream or "fake" idk I like that part though. Yea every band uses some tuning, they shouldn't have said the thint about Kanye but it is what it is

  5. oh yeah, i've always thought the tweets were silly but that section of the song felt very out of place to me and reminded me about it, haha. idk, not really a fan of this band but all of the reception in here seems positive so that's cool. my brother loves the album

as far as bass goes, Shaun does a great job on this record. probably the best rhythm section performance from this band since WYWTB or New Again.

I love the lyrics here. feels very natural and real (?). not sure the right word, just seems like they're really comfortable.

always loved how Adam/John writes about religion, so we don't go in there and holy water hit hard.

I think it's a really good release from them. But I also don't think it will be for everyone. I'm really happy they are playing the album in full on their tour gives me more insentive to give it more spins

  8. I dig this album a lot more than I expected to like a Taking Back Sunday album in 2016.

It sounds like an album that Adam can actually sing live, and from the clips I've seen he sounds very good on this album live

going with holy water, call come running (that solo), can't look back, and we don't go in there as my early favorites.

I'm listening to HI now and Like You Do is actually one of my favorites. The platform line, the guitar outro, just a lot of fun

    and a little jingle...

That's probably due to Mike Sapone. I've said it a million times, but basically every band in this scene or even loosely related scenes...should work with him heh. I cant imagine how Louder Now would've been with him.

I think this album is a big change in vibe/style for them. Even going back and listening to H.I....it almost sounds like a different band(minus adam vocals obviously)...that album's much more moody, lyrically strong(imo), amospheric, and emotional. This is like...Tom Petty and the heart breakers mixed with TBS, or something. I'm not hating, it's just not what I've come to expect from tbs.

I wanted to really let this sit and listen for a number of times before I came to any judgement or formed an opinion. First listen: Eh, I hear some good, some I'm not big on. Third/Fourth listen: Really liked that hook/lyric/bridge in that track and this track. Oh that was a cool touch there. And so on.

Tell All Your Friends is easily a Top 3 most important album ever for me. I listened to it every day for two years. It's not an understatement to say it changed my life as well as my worldview when I realized music could move me to such a degree. I've enjoyed some of their efforts to some degree since then, even really loved a few songs, but definitely never "fell in love" or felt that "magic" like I did with TAYF.

20th listen: I'm really falling head over heels for this record. I'm not comfortable in saying it's there yet, but it's teetering pretty close to that "magic" I felt 14 years ago. I am comfortable in at least saying this is easily their best album since then. I think I can also say I see this possibly becoming their best album in my mind.

Also, "I Felt It Too" is easily their best ballad.

Holy Water is fucking awesome. Most excited I've been about one of their songs for years. Not sure if this is for me, but some songs are pretty decent.

Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

It's starting to click for me on repeat listens. So far I'm into Death Wolf, Tidal Wave, Never Look Back, Fences, I Felt It Too, Holy Water, and We don't Go In There. It's still mid tier on my list of their albums(but that could change), and it won't beat Blink's California for my AOTY(that album just clicked with me instantly). But it's gaining my respect slowly.
