Idk man, Fist Wrapped in Blood, Discovering the Waterfront, Defend You and My Heroine is the best four song run in their whole discography imo.

Thinking about it that might be four of my top five Silverstein songs lol.

Are you sure you're talking about Rescue and not When Broken is Easily Fixed or Discovering the Waterfront? First, Rescue was on Hopeless and not Victory. Also, pretty sure most people fell in love with the band with WBIEF or DTW. Victory advertised the hell out of DTW back then. The band barely even plays any song from Rescue anymore so I wouldn't call it a classic and would be weird to not play songs from the album that made people fall in love with them.

I have a couple albums above it in my ranking, but yeah it's definitely the album that made them blow up and their classic album.

I remember finding out about this band from the little white Victory Records sampler that came with Where You Want To Be, and then I remember DTW being promoted like crazy back on MTV2/Fuse.

Very similar for me. I found them through the sampler that came with Silence In Black & White and the rest is history!

Pretty sure it was the first song on the sampler if I'm remembering correctly? Smashed Into Pieces

Also Silverstein was the first band I listened to that had mostly screamed vocals so you could say I have a soft spot for them.

ohio is for lovers played on the radio here in canada so i bought the silence in black and white the summer before high school started and i was already into stuff like alesana and alexisonfire but HH and silverstein were something new.

Came here to say Paul Marc's verse on 'The Altar / Mary' is one of the best things I've heard in years.

I really don't like since of the lettuce but overall I like it

"Cash the dividend" line feels very strange

Big fan of both The Altar/Mary (aside from their abrupt and unrealized ending) and Paul Marc’s verse.

"So I might pay my penance/When I get my dividend" such a great line in a great song.

Apparently on their current co-headline, they're having part of their setlist determined by an on-stage wheel of fortune, which is pretty novel

I really hope that they do a full anniversary tour for This Is How The Wind Shifts. I was 12 years old when I first heard that album and it's what got me into heavy music.

I was running through the albums in my head that I really care to get on vinyl. “…Wind Shifts” is toward the top of my list. Ready.

And if it’s not the EXACT same art work I’m going to be pissed.
