Maybe a mix of covers and/or originals? Songs about zombies, ghosts, witches, etc.? I figure it might as well just be a Misfits covers comp, haha.

 

I think that's a good idea (mix of covers/originals), defo down for "My Body's A Zombie..." but would love to hear other people's originals on the topic haha.

 

That sounds super fun. I already have a cover in mind, and if two submissions is an option/I have time to I might try my hand at an original halloween song.

What constitutes a "halloween song" though

 

I would think anything in the "horror movie" theme. Could have lyrics about spooky things (ghosts, monsters, the dark, death, etc), a real holiday song (like Monster Mash... I'm drawing a blank on any others...) or even just a song that has an overall "spooky" feel (like you'd hear watching a scary flick or anything with a theremin on it).

 

Fine then i call HALLOWEEN BY GASLIGHT ANTHEM. Idk any other Halloween songs....well maybe one....

And I so could have covered Somebody Else by 1975 lol!

PS: "Sex" is up for grabs, if anyone is like me and wants to do a very last minute cover. I've changed mine to the intro track, "The 1975."

 

If someone does a "spooky" version of "Call Me Maybe" you will win.

 

So do it in my normal singing voice? That would be creepy af.

And someone obviously needs to cover "Dead Mans Party" by Oingo Boingo, and the Ghostbusters theme song.

...but I respect your ambition. I MAY start one on Tuesday. I want to spend tomorrow taking in the new tribute and listening to several prospective spooky tunes.

This might be the perfect opportunity to use my air-organ with a tremelo/rotary speaker effect or something! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try it out on my cover of If I Believe You.
