Finally been making my way through the big hit show podcast in anticipation. Just finished the third episode and really enjoying it. Love seeing/hearing about what happens behind the curtain.

 

Normally roll my eyes at a double album these days but Kendrick is an artist I can see it actually working. He’s been away for a while, not surprised he has a lot of work to show.

outside chance he just drops with no single - I still think we're getting one but that would be a hell of a way to mark its arrival. no single or tracklist or anything, I'd love that... outside chance tho

 

It'd be really exciting, I think he'll drop a music video on release day or right before, but why not the same day? Wouldn't make a huge difference, Kendrick is big enough to not need to promote, its a news story at this point.

Damn rocked but I'm getting a feeling about this one....hoping to be wrong. At any rate I can't imagine there won't be a killer single album in that tracklist to cobble together lol

 

I'll believe it drops on a friday when the store goes up with merch items

 

I mean butterfly feels like a double album in terms of the content & depth of the material but in no way slogs or meanders so I’m pretty optimistic an actual double LP from him could work

 

Since we're making wildly incorrect speculations, I'm gonna go with a Zaireeka-type deal where one album (Morale) has the rhymes and the other (Steppers) has the music.
