Just got my pre-order!

 

Very nice album. Some songs are definitely stronger than others for me but I like pretty much all of it. "Happy Accident" is still in contention for my song of the year.

I like this after one listen. slower than I expected. the opener and stoned were the early standouts for me.

 

Some moments remind me of early bon iver

 

Never listened to her before - but just realised she's playing locally on Monday so going to binge this weekend

It is, unfortunately, what I think of immediately whenever I see their name now. Music is still good but yeah!

 

I can’t listen to her without thinking about it. I might check out the album at some point though

I think I forgot about the Folklore thing pretty much immediately after it happened

 

I saw that recently and had to read it 4 times to make sure I was comprehending it correctly

 

drove through the mountains of New Hampshire on the way to a cabin for the weekend, listening to this for the first time and I think tap is officially one of my favorite songs of the year. Also saw my first ever moose (two of them!!!) which means I’ll probably never forget this first listen, haha

Absolutely loved all of it a lottt but now I’m bummed remembering her folklore bullshit

It’s actually worse than I remember

 

I hear Ingrid Michaelson on the first track

 

This record is excellent, the lyrics are knocking me over. Just got my vinyl and it’s beautiful too.

 

I listened and like this but it didn't really blow me away. I'll have to revisit it soon.

 

Hate to say it because I liked most everything before this album, but I find myself bored listening to this.

 

idk if it’s cus i caught the last show of the tour or if they were just tight from the get go, but they and their band sounded soooo good over the weekend. really tasty, groovy, sparse arrangements and ain’t nothin wrong with that voice
