This genuinely made me laugh

 

I have a kid and he wants to watch this. He’s 4 and finds anything dark and violent hilarious. Help.

 

Show him the Wayne’s getting dropped as a gauge

 

He walked in while we were watching Mortal Kombat and didn’t say anything so we didn’t see him there. When Jax got his arm smashed off he went “Oh Shit!” and I turned so fast. I just gave him “the glare” and he goes “I meant shoot. Shoot is fine.” But then he told me it was awesome and he laughed. He may think the Waynes getting dropped is tame and it may not phase him.

 

My three week old watched this with me recently, hated it. Slept through the entire thing smh

 

I have kids and had more fun with this on Max due to watching it in three parts.

 

Corridor is great. Love their VFX Artists React series

 

Such a fantastic idea. Seeing such people as Seth Rogan and Adam Savage was great. I like their Stuntman react as well.

this first movie, while a solid entry, wasn’t flawless but i feel it no less than laid groundwork for a potentially stronger successor. hopefully that’s what we get

 

I believe in Reeves. The dude gets it.

Hell of a first outing already under his belt. I wouldn’t mind him doing the next two if he can put together a story tying it all together, and I believe he can.

Court of Owls in the sequel, now that we know Renewal is just about corruption and those at the top doing terrible things from the first film, giving way to likely the Joker for the completion. Make it happen.

Paul Dano was so good in this

 

I would love the Court to be involved somehow, instructing Falcone on how to manipulate and keep power with renewal would make sense to me.

 

I didn't like Paul Dano in this because I never felt threatened by him. There was no tension. He just felt like a loser haha

 

I didn't dislike him but I went into this expecting to be absolutely blown away by his performance and for him to be the highlight of the movie but he ended up just kinda being there for me. Not in a bad way, he was a great villain, but he didn't really particularly impress me that much
