I'm going through British Panel shows right now on YouTube, watching all of Would I Lie To You and 8 Oout Of 10 Cats Does Countdown again from the beginning and seeing how old everyone is now depresses the living fuck out of me.

I mean, one of the panelists died recently too, so it's fucking bumming me out.

 

I know I said I'd replay Life is Strange but I ended up playing Darksiders Genesis instead, anyway I'm downloading True Colors on Gamepass now

 

Player's Log: Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice.

I'm not sure how far I am into the game. I'm guesstimating maybe halfway.

Unlike the previous game, this is a more straightforward "find the MacGuffin" kind of plot, so I guess it takes after Leisure Suit Larry 2 in that regard.

Also unlike the previous game, while it does still make jokes at Larry's expense, it has quite a few offensive stereotypical characters of its own that adds a whole new level of cringe to the experience.

Anyway, once this is over, I'm washing my hands of Larry. Maybe literally.

I'll probably tackle Orwell next, like I intended to do before I decided I'd rather plumb the annals of history.

Yeah, but I don't feel like being forced to be a supporter because the ads are literally atrocious now. Just auto playing video with audio and giant popups that take over the whole screen on my phone

 

Okay yeah that's not great haha. Can tell I've not been on the desktop site for years

 

my biggest issue is that any time i load a page, it waits a few seconds and then drops down a few inches when a new ad generates at the top of the page. it happens on mobile as well
